Inspired living takes the form of a disposed kitchen table. With three legs missing the now defunct table is presented on its back on a gallery plinth. Its one remaining leg has been replaced by a cast-bronze version, its tip polished to gleam brightly as it protrudes proudly into the air.
The weight of the bronze table leg in relation to the rest of the table is comically evident in its positioning on the plinth where most of the table has to lie to one side in order for it to balance on the plinth. The effect is one where the table would appear to defy gravity.
